Invitation to PhD defense Naja Graugaard

TITLE

Tracing seal: Unsettling narratives of Kalaallit seal relations. Please see summary below.

HOW

Monday the 6th April, Naja Graugaard will defend her thesis.

Due to the circumstance the defense will be carried out via Skype for Business.

If you wish to participate in the defense, please send me an email to jma@hum.aau.dk, and I will invite you to the session.

Be aware that you must be muted during the whole defense, also your camera must be off.

If your participation disturb the defense in any way we might have to disconnect you.

The defense start exactly at 13.00. Be ready before that. The session is open form 12.45.  You are not allowed to join after the defense starts, neither during break or examination

PROGRAM

1240: Pre-meeting, assessment committee, moderator, observer

1300: Welcome by Carina Ren

1305: PhD presentation (40 min)

1345: Break

1400: opponents examination

1500: Questions from the audience.

If there is no questions, the assessment committee join another ”room” and evaluate.  Participants stays in the “Defense room” and wait for the assessment committee to join the “defense-room” again.

Participants will during the first break email their questions to Carina Ren ren@hum.aau.dk. If there are no questions, the assessment committee join in another ”room” and evaluate.  Participants stays in the “Defense room” and wait for the assessment committee to join the “defense-room” again.
