Exciting summer news from two of our Arctic Studies students, Laila Nielsen and Kamilla Rathcke. Their Arctic journey has taken them to the other side of the Atlantic!
Laila will start her 9th semester with an internship at the Danish Embassy in Ottowa, Canada, where she will be working on Arctic issues. With her special interest in international affairs, she is prepared to contribute and acquire new skills at her new workplace.
In July, Kamilla was enrolled in Ilisimatusarfik’s summer course in Nuuk. She managed to get enrolled in the course as one of the lucky few in Scandinavia. Besides learning about Greenlandic culture, language, politics and business, excursions and tours are also part of the curriculum.
We can’t wait to follow you both on your new adventures!
